Ursuline Center Residents and Staff Recognize National Human Trafficking Awareness Day

National Human Trafficking Awareness Day is recognized each year on January 11. In recognition of this important day, the Ursuline Center residents and staff will take part in the national #Wear Blue Day campaign sponsored by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. The Ursuline Community has taken a stance against human trafficking and is participating in this national campaign to show our support of this initiative.
The color blue is internationally symbolic of human trafficking awareness. Ursuline Center residents and staff will show their commitment to fighting human trafficking and praying for the victims and an end to this heinous crime by wearing blue clothing or accessories on Friday, January 11. Photos of participants will be shared on the Ursuline Sisters’ Facebook page and on a poster made for the Center.
