Associate Leadership Adopts New Style

On June 18^th, the Ursuline Leadership Team invited area Associates to a Gathering, “Sustaining the Legacy,” to discuss the future of the Ursuline Sisters and the Associate Program leadership. 

A decision was made to have a three-member events coordinating team (Teri Thourot, Val Myers, Michelle Scazzero) who will coordinate our two annual events with the help of any Associates who are able to volunteer their time, talents and energy. The two annual events have been scheduled for 2024:

Summer Picnic for Sisters and Associates – Friday, August 9, 2024, 

at 11:30 a.m. at Ursuline Center

Christmas Party for Sisters and Associates – Friday, December 6, 2024, 

at 11:30 a.m. at Ursuline Center

Many other ideas, including Reflection Days and events sponsored by TAANG, have surfaced and may be scheduled in the future. If there are activities you would like to take the lead on, feel free to contact the events coordinating team. 

Our presence with one another and with the Sisters is essential to the Associate Program. Associates are always encouraged to keep in touch with the Sisters through visits, cards and calls.
